Every survey you complete we will donate a meal

Imagine seeing your children slowly starving... and having nothing to feed them. For countless destitute families, this is a grim reality

TORONTO, Oct. 3, 2016 /CNW/ - Hurricane Matthew is one of the most powerful storms to impact Haiti and Jamaica in over a decade. Food For The Poor Canada is on high alert and now accepting cash donations to relieve some of the devastating effects that this storm will bring. Your donations are the fastest, most efficient way to help those people most affected. It will allow relief agencies in Haiti and Jamaica, working with Food For The Poor, to quickly gather and distribute supplies of food, shelter and pharmaceuticals.

Food For The Poor has been a careful steward of its donors' money for 35 years. Internationally, they have built over 65,000 homes in Jamaica and Haiti, and supported the distribution of food and medicines across the islands. In times of disaster, Food For The Poor is an important partner in facilitating supply distribution for relief agencies such as the Red Cross and Salvation Army.

Already, Food For The Poor is fully engaged in supporting the hurricane Matthew disaster relief effort. Over 30 containers are on their way to Haiti and 20 containers to Jamaica.

Your contributions will be used to purchase ship and distribute emergency supplies of food, shelter and pharmaceuticals.

With every survey you complete we will donate a meal to help feed hungry children around the world.
